The Rolling Stones

This was a project I worked on while I was at Outernet. The idea was to design a template for The Now Building to host the photographs of The Rolling Stones taken by Mark Hayward from his book “The Rolling Stones: on camera off guard”. To create a little more interest in the template I explored the idea of zooming into some of the photos making them appear 3D. I tested this out with the two photos above. Separating the layers out in photoshop and then bringing them into Cinema 4D to project them onto models, then compositing them together in After Effects.

Below are the layouts I created for each chapter of the book displaying the different photos in each. As well as animation tests for the photographs to start coming in when the template starts.
